Catholic Schools Week

Penny War - All Week	Throughout the week the Student Council will hold a penny war between the grade levels with the proceeds being split with one-half going to support our student Gabriella in El Salvador and the other half will help fund the Student Council's Scholarship Fund. Bring your pennies to help support these worthy causes!
Sunday - January 31st	Open House 1:00-3:00 PM - Stop by and see what the students have been learning at St. John the Baptist School.
Monday - February 1st	Student Appreciation Day - Students may be out of uniform.
Tuesday - February 2nd	Bus Driver Appreciation Day - Be sure to tell your driver "Thank You!" with a card or sign of gratitude for getting you to and from school safely.
Wednesday - February 3rd	Mass at Cathedral for Student Council Officers and Mr. Owens Teacher Appreciation Day - Show your teachers appreciation by helping him/her to have a great day.
Thursday - February 4th	Volunteer Appreciation Day - The teachers will be serving the Volunteer Dinner with two seatings at 5:00 and 6:00 pm Jersey Day - sponsored by Student Council - a 50 cent donation to the Scholarship Fund allows you to wear a team jersey of your choice or Spirit Wear. Uniform bottoms are still required.
Friday - February 5th	We will be holding an ALL School Assembly at 2:45 pm in the gym with a presentation by Robin Pendery from the Flying Pig Marathon. Our students will be logging miles to complete a marathon from now until May.
